Our Story
Metrievers happened when right intentions met good people, and We met You! That is when our journey began and the story of “Metrievers” lies there.
A considerable part of my life went in my homeland which is India. I could pull off in every kind of situation be it a document to be issued or a property matter to be taken care of, Things got difficult when I traveled overseas. I had to stay there for a few years. I would operate my Indian bank accounts from overseas. It seemed quite easy since I had my Indian phone and sim and everything worked quite easily through the OTP method. But I got “stuck” once. My sim card got damaged and I stopped receiving OTPs or any messages. I had to struggle had to get through the long distance authorization process, document verifications, signatures etc. Although I could manage getting it done through “Power of Attorney” given to my brother. But I still faced lot of technical difficulties and mostly 'a lot of obligation'! Many times I felt awkward to push my brother to do the things. That’s when I felt a dead need of some authorized, responsible and dedicated group or organization whom I could simply hire for my “Stuck work”. And I felt why can’t I be that source for my friends, family or anyone. I got along a few more of my resources and formed “Metrievers”- ‘Your personal retriever’. When we work for you we want to justify the word “Retriever” which indicates retrieving your information, helping you overcome your unwelcoming situation and most importantly it means extracting your lost “Stuck Work”. With that said “Metrievers” was born to be a helper, supporter and “trusted partner”. It’s journey has started to make the everyone’s life easier by working for them, on their behalf. All this with the hope that our invitees shall not feel “Being Stuck”, the way we felt.
